FoodExp Matrix will take place in Lecce at the picturesque Chiostro dei Domenicani, a historic 15th-century building that was once one of the most important monastic complexes in Puglia. The interior spaces of the ancient monastery — such as the refectories, the Chapter House and the Locutorio — will provide the setting for the event’s main activities, welcoming guests amidst exquisite frescoes and columns with capitals finely carved in the 16th century. In particular, the historic Crypt of the SS. Annunziata will host the ‘Food & Wine’ section, transforming into an exceptional setting for the tasting of the finest Apulian and Italian wines, blending the heritage of a centuries-old site with contemporary culinary excellence.
