IT WILL TELL THE FUTURE OF ITALIAN CUISINE

From April 12 to 13, 2023, the FoodExp event will be held on Wednesday, April 12, and Thursday, April 13. The location has been confirmed as the Chiostro dei Domenicani in Lecce, which since 2020 has hosted the event organized by Giovanni Pizzolante's Sinext, bringing the big names in Italian and international catering and hospitality to Salento for an event that combines culinary and managerial culture, training, entertainment, and conviviality. "EXPLORERS Audacious challenges Original visions" is the inspirational theme of the new edition: on stage, the event will host chefs, maitre d's, restaurant managers, bartenders, and innovators who invest in study and research in their work, driven by the desire to travel far from their comfort zone. there will be professionals who travel, exchange ideas, and take risks with the intention of finding new stimuli to metabolize and rework in a unique, personal, and distinctive way, to give their guests an original experience that they cannot find anywhere else. FoodExp 2023 will bring together personalities who radiate healthy and contagious energy, capable of anticipating new trends and making them their own, reworking them with often surprising results.

The FoodExp format includes a Talk room for institutional activities and in-depth discussions on specific topics; two rooms dedicated to theaters, with live performances, show cooking, and cooking techniques; a space in the crypt of the Cloister for wine tastings; Only the Best tasting tables; an area reserved for the world of pizza and pizza maker training; a room for project work by students from hotel management schools in Puglia. For those who wish to taste the finger food offered by a selection of Apulian restaurants, there is the FoodExp Gourmet event, with a lunch break in the cloister garden. The highlight is the Memorabili, exclusive lunches for 35 participants, where you can enjoy the exceptional experience of sitting at Michelin-starred tables without leaving Lecce.
